Sharon Scott graduated from NAIT’s Court Reporting program in 1996 and began her career in Victoria, BC, transcribing Provincial Court proceedings, Human Rights Tribunals, and Residential School examinations in correctional facilities.

In 1999, she returned to Calgary, where she has reported US depositions, oil & gas litigation, commercial disputes, medical malpractice, motor vehicle accident cases, and family law Questionings. Sharon has worked in Queen’s Bench/King’s Bench of Alberta where she took down the evidence in criminal trials and worked in all levels of Court, in person and via remote video questioning providing expedited transcripts including daily copy.

Her commitment to accuracy, professionalism, and client service has made Focus Forward a trusted choice for legal professionals across Alberta. Currently I am growing Focus Forward Ltd. to be a legacy company in Alberta with continued focus on accuracy, professionalism and client satisfaction. 

I am a mother of 3 adult children and a grandma to a granddaughter. I love to get out on hikes with my foster dog. I love to volunteer with horses as well. Traveling, cooking, entertaining and meeting people from around the world are a passion. Traveling to Dubai so far is the highlight with many other countries on the list to experience.
